The use of computer operating systems on the basis of the examples of MS Windows and DOS and Unix (Linux): main operations, file management, network software.
Basic concepts of word processing, rules and conventions of compiling and laying out documents. The principles and features of spreadsheets. Elementary knowledge of creating applications. The programmes used are MS Word, MS Excel and VBA for creating applications.
