Subject 'Computers'

The aim of the course is to give the audience an idea about computer hardware and its functional principles. Computer hardware is studied at different levels, from elements of logic to different processors. Different memory devices, input-output devices belonging to the computer set and data exchange between them are dealt with. The course includes problems related to fault tolerance, parallel processing and the implementation of special computer hardware to different fields of application.
